Sf Carnival celebrated its 30-year anniversary as 85 contingents made their way parading through the mission district. The parade run up 24th street, through Mission Street and ended on 17th street, covering a total of over 14 blocks. Immediately following the parade was a festival on Harrison Street with live music, food, and arts and crafts. The SF CarnivalÕs theme was, ÒMany Cultures, One SpritÓ, meaning it was a celebration of the diversity within the city.
